When my dad was alive, I would proudly share Steven's music with him. He would listen to the tunes and comment on his lyrics. I wish I had written down the things he said and his tender response, but I always felt uplifted, better about life and buoyed up following our visits. He always asked for the lyrics and I know why; they made something really great even better
