Well I said goodbye to Elder Davies today and the Beaumont YSA. I made a lot of really good friends and I love that branch so much. I don't have a ton of time to email today but I'll probably make a video sometime and upload it to the Google Photos album. I've been transferred to Vidor Texas and I'm with Elder Sheppard! I'm super pumped about this transfer, I get to learn a new zone and a new area and meet new people. New is good.
Elder Sheppard is from Fresno California, he came out a transfer before me, and he's been here for 2 transfers. Vidors an awesome place, it's back in the country and I'm over the orange zone which covers all the way out to Jennings Louisiana. It's the farthest east our mission goes and I'm super pumped to see Lake Charles and Jennings it will be awesome. So my email is titled He Is Risen for 2 reasons: 1) because I'm super pumped for #LightTheWorld this Christmas and it's getting closer everyday! 2) because my beloved companion Elder Larson got transferred and called as the new AP! So he left me on Sunday and I got to trio with some of my favorite missionaries for the next 36 hours. My new companion is Elder Davies! He's from Murray Utah and has been out the same amount of time as me. I'm really pumped for this transfer to work super hard and go to bed exhausted everyday. We have had some cool experiences this last week in the YSA. Our main man Alex who we have been teaching for awhile was waiting for his girlfriend to get baptised but he texted us in the middle of the week and asked us if he could just get baptised already. So he's going to get baptised next weekend! I'm super pumped for that. Also we met this girl named Audrey on campus the other day and she fed us and we had a lesson with her and a member present this week! It went really well and she is coming to institute tonight so that should be awesome. I love it here and I'm excited for this next transfer.
