Flying under the radar, Facing Giants is filled with classic scenes and many inspirational moments. The first weekend alone the film opened on 441 screens nationwide.  With a mere budget of $100,000, it ultimately surpassed all expectations and was shown in over 1,000 theaters and grossed more than $10 million. DVD sales have also been strong, with 2.3 million units sold in 57 countries. This flick has come to be known as dad's favorite movie. One of the best known movies of all time Remember the Titans premiered in theaters nationwide in the United States in 2000 grossing $136 million. The film was considered a financial success due to its $30 million budget. Preceding its theatrical run, the film was generally met with favorable critical reviews before its initial screening in cinemas.
