Scott Southwick Faith may be one of the most difficult concepts of the gospel to really understand. I have learned that you must think of faith as verb. Faith is found in the things that we do, our thoughts and our actions. When we do the things that Jesus asks of us, to live in righteousness, to be kind and to serve our fellow man, trusting that in so doing we will qualify for promised blessings; when we act upon the promptings of the Holy Ghost which will always lead us to repent and to improve, then we experience the miracle of Christ's atonement to take away our sins and we are empowered by Him to become better people. Faith is not a noun. It is not something we can have or hold. It is a verb and it is found in the choices we make and the actions we take.
