<tributes to john denver

I remember well the day they reported the airplane wreck that took John Denver's life. I thought then what a tragedy that the world will no longer get to hear the works of one of history's favorite and most talented musical artists. Fortunately we already have many classics that will perpetuate his legacy.

​Rather than trying to duplicate the works of others who have written about the successful musical career of the gifted artist John Denver, I will here remember his life, reference my favorite memories of him during my youth, and celebrate his stunning musical accomplishments.

I had heard about John Denver and even listened a little to his music, but back in those days I was young and music wasn't that big a part of my life. When we moved to Castle Valley, I started really enjoying Denver's musical escapades. He was singing about the life we were living. He still does.
