3/21/22 - Naples FL
We spend the morning at the campground. I made French toast for breakfast with two little helpers. Then I took Fitz to the park, Ozzy worked on new Lego projects, Enzo napped, Nick worked. At about noon we left the beach. This time we found beach access near the Naples Pier. Naples is a very nice and wealthy place. Actual billionaire homes in the downtown area were in today. Perfectly manicured yards. Creative, beautiful, architecture, perfect beach location, and again, massive homes. Parking is difficult near the pier, so Nick dropped us off near the beach, parked, then joined us. We played on the beach, mostly in the sand building castles that Fitz would destroy immediately after or digging big holes to fill with water (Ozzy’s specialty.) Enzo napped on the beach in the shade. When he woke up we left our sunshade and toys and headed toward the Naples Pier. It was about a 10 minute walk from where we were on the coastline. Nick held Enzo in the ErgoBaby and I held Fitz in my arms. He rested his head on my shoulder and fell asleep pretty quickly.

Ozzy walked with us and was searching for cool shells to collect. There are so many shells on the beaches here. We arrived at the pier and walked the length of it taking our time. Nick talked to fishermen along the way. We saw a dolphin out in the water too! It was hanging around to steal the fisherman’s fish I’m guessing. We saw someone catch a catfish, then he used that catfish for bait to catch another huge fish. We made our way back to the beach and about half way back on the pier Fitz woke up. It was good timing for him because there was a food stand there so we all got cool treats to eat. Once we made it all the way back to our sunshade/spot on the beach it was getting close to dinner time. Nick went to get the van, I packed everything into the wagon and the boys and I met him at a beach entrance. We drove back to the campground and picked up smoothies (again) on our way.  When we got back I took the boys to have showers and then we returned to the van to a nice taco dinner Nick had prepared. I put Enzo in bed for the night. A little more Lego time (Ozzy) and bike riding (Fitz) and then it was off to bed.
