3/20/22 - Naples, FL
A day at our new campground. We tend to pack in the fun most days, but sometimes you just need a day to slow down. Today we woke up and planned to go to the pool after breakfast. There was a thick fog this morning, so we waited a bit for that to clear up and did some van chores. We got to the pool around 10:00 am. I swam with the boys while Nick dropped off our mountain of laundry at the laundromat. Then when he got to the pool Enzo was ready for a nap so I took him to the van and stayed with him while Nick swam. It was a hot day! After a while Nick and the big boys made their way back for a late lunch and we folded the laundry. Then Fitz napped. Ozzy entertained himself by making potions in our hydro flasks. Water, dirt, lotion, dish soap, etc. when Fitz woke up I gave him and Ozzy their own Lego sets to work on. I had been saving them for a day like today. Together we sat in the shade and built Lego’s. Enzo took another nap, but it didn’t last long so we decided to pack it up and go find smoothies somewhere. It was hot! We found a great little smoothie shop and enjoyed our smoothies. Nick was craving fries so we drove to another place to get them. We all shared the fries in the van and then had a mini dance party. Then we hurried back home for bedtime. We tucked everyone in, had showers, and called it a night. |
