tributes to kurt bestor
Many years ago when I worked for WordPerfect, Alan Ashton commissioned Kurt Bestor to write and perform some innovative songs that were made part of the upcoming release of our flagship product, which at the time held a staggering 90% of the word processing market. And I still enjoy his music today.

Perhaps his greatest song is Prayer of the Children. This song was recorded and made its way on to a CD produced for the Wordperfect Corporation entitled "Innovators." I was one of the many employees at that time. This CD was disseminated worldwide to over 500,000 Wordperfect 6.0 users. This aided in large part to people becoming familiar with the song.
