VIDEO MEMOIRS

tributes to Steve Mahoney

Picture
Perhaps the thing I like most about Steve is his uncanny ability to make and keep friends. He has good relationships with everyone, even those from adversarial circumstances. From the very moment that you meet him, you feel comfortable and at home. He is a big man with a soft heart and keen ability to lift and build. Nowhere is that more evident than in his family. Just browse for a moment his Facebook page and see the conversations he has with his daughters, for instance. They love him and communicate openly and affectionately. Steve is a great dad, a good man, and a loyal friend. What’s not to like? He’d  be the first to tell you that he isn’t perfect and has made mistakes. But a smart man makes a mistake, learns from it, and never makes that mistake again. The greatness of a man is in his ability to affect those around him positively.

Steve Mahoney - Quotes

Memoir
Fun with Stephen - Frequently, Steve liked to show his team a good time at work and play. We would go to lunch regularly as a team and participate in fun gatherings during and after work, like the time we drove four-wheelers on the dunes, water-skied at Deer Creek, target practiced shooting clay pigeons, and had regular barbecues behind the office building. One day he made a comment that lead me to believe he had been to Finland, where I served my mission. Turns out he was there when his dad was mission president, and his sister Tiina served while I was there.
