More Tributes...
We had the good fortune of having Tosh at our house regularly either when family from up north was visiting or when we would "babysit" Tosh on occasion when family went out of town or whatever. This is something we did with Tosh that we really didn't do with other "pets" in the family. I suspect that was because Tosh was so easy to take care of, mostly.
I often said that Tosh was more like a family member than a dog, and he knew it. On occasion when Camie and Nick were out of town, we would have Tosh come spend the night in our room because he normally didn't like to be downstairs on the main level all by himself. We elt more comfortable having him nearby, as well. Funny thing is that he would wake us up at night when he needed to go out or nuzzle our hands a moment when he wanted us to pet him. But just for a moment. Tosh never made himself a nuisance. This was classic old Tosh. Always welcome always kind We love having Tosh stay with us because he is always easy-to-manage and obedient. Only one time, when we were all having dinner at our house in the backyard, and when we went back into the house to get the cake or pizza or whatever, it was gone! Toshy ate it. I still remember that. haha |
