kings and queens never ate so well

Brent and Nancy had us to their home for an evening of fun and a gourmet dinner—a 7-course meal. Neither Linda or I expected this kind of treatment though we secretly hoped for such. This exceeded all our fondest imaginations.

We were witnesses to an evening of delicious food and drink, fun interactions, forever friendships, and understanding and appreciation sought by all.

In addition to attentive hosts and warm and welcoming hospitality, our hosts served an incredible menu:

—Shrimp tempura Legostino lobster cocktail, celery
—​Brussell sprouts wrapped in bacon 
—​Scallops w/mushrooms 
—​Salad with homemade blue cheese and ranch dressings
—​Coconut shrimp with mango orange dipping sauce and surano peppers
—​Seared steak cooked in souz vide circulating water bath 
—​Chocolate cherries

God does not care what side of the veil we are on.

We visited for hours after the meal and reveled in the fact that we were satisfied, happy, and comfortable with friends, family, and filled—​​not just with a delicious meal and good food, but filled with love and admiration for good companions. For a night we were treated like kings and queens in a comfortably warm home and camaraderie​.
