The "BYU football saga" continues with the team securing a long-term contract extension for head coach Kalani Sitake, who had been pursued by Penn State. This follows a significant and difficult period for the program. But was this year different?

When I was going to school at BYU, Lavell Edwards had designed a system with a passing attack that was unrivaled throughout all of college football. Because of it, BYU came to be known as the Quarterback Factory, and many football greats came from BYU including linemen, receivers and a cast of some of the best quarterbacks in both college and NFL history.
