Camilla was the first to join our family. You must have heard the story that I had convinced myself that we were having a boy first. So when the doctor said "Looks like we have a little girl here," I seriously had not really considered what it would feel like to have a daughter until that moment. It hit me hard and fast in the delivery room of the Provo Regional Medical Center, and I have never regretted it. Since her namesake is Camilla Kimball, it was with particular pleasure that I had the opportunity to tell her that in person.

Shopping...bearable because of the company:-)

Sentimental or philosophical? That is the question. Think when you hear something that takes you back to yesteryear. That happens to me when I see a freshly cut field of hay or hear the bleet of a goat or see horses in the pasture.  We hold on to good memories to help us endure life's hardships. Memories do that for us. Camilla is part of those good memories for me.
