Doug and Kim Conant
We naturally gravitate to kind and selfless people. They are fun to be around and make us feel better about ourselves than we do on our own. When we realize the impact they have had in our lives and that of our families, we want to take part of what they have given us and share these qualities with our loved ones. Sometimes we come to find out these characteristics were developed at a very high price, and we feel honored to bask in their beauty. I think that perhaps is one of the great miracles of life. We are not alone but instead receive strength from those who demonstrate fortitude and resilience in the face of hardship, and that buoys us up.
