There was a good-natured older gentleman that worked at the ELWC fixing doors, painting, and keeping everything in working condition back when we were attending school. We often ran into each other and actaully went to visit him often in his office over by the elevators down the hallway some on the first floor, but I couldn't remember his name for the life of me.

So I asked my friend Dave to share what he remembers about Eldon:
My memories of Eldon have faded, but I recall that he was always very good natured.  Patient and kind with the young kids that we were at that time.

I remember him meticulously repairing a damaged wall panel in the Wilkinson Center; including hand-painting a wood grain to perfectly match the rest of the wall.  He was a real craftsman.  Considering that the it was probably the setup crew (us) that caused the damage, I was grateful to have him on our team!

Yeah. That pretty much sums it up .. Eldon was always humble, friendly and kind .. that's just the way I remember him!
