Floyd Johnson is a father figure to many Cougars, including Linda and me. He was our married student ward bishop, while we were newly weds and living at Wymount Terrace. Just a lowly equipment coach was never a sentiment we felt or he espoused. Floyd was loved by everyone. We kept in touch for years. He inspired a champions-for-life philosophy.
