This trip to Fremont started with a Wednesday flight for Linda and some serious shopping and a day at the beach. The memories will last forever. On Friday, Jer made a late night trip to the airport to pick me up. Mom and Alyssa shared a blow dryer and we all visited the Designer Shoe Warehouse. Incredible store. I found some Vans and a pair of dress shoes. We hung around Fremont and shopped. We had lunch at Thai food and Indian food.
The next day we took a scenic trip to San Francisco and visited the California Academy of Sciences.
The California Academy of Sciences is a science museum—and scientific and educational institution—located in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. There are many great websites, twitter page, and lots more photos.
Ray had tons of fun exploring the animals, adventures, colors, sounds, fish and butterflies.

Jer and Alyssa went to a baby shower in San Francisco, and mom and dad attended the Cambodian branch at the temple. Then we walked the temple grounds, watch a video series Calming the Storm, a new series available at visitors centers around the world. He also calms storms in our lives when hardship occurs.
We had lunch at The Kebob Shop.
Swimming and The Settlers of Catan game.
Our Fremont jaunt to stay with family turned out to be a trip of a lifetime. The northern California coasts and beaches are dotted along miles of steep bluffs, sandy beaches, the Golden Gate bridge, and scenic wonders. We strolled the shoreline, visited shops, and gazed into the tide pools. The food was scrumptious as was the thrill of the roaring surf. We are hooked.
