Some people face hardship with an attitude of faith and gratitude. Such is the case with Jacob. I felt an instant kinship when we met the first time. He wants to make the world a better place. This desire clearly emanated from him when we met together. The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree, and so it is with Jacob. He shares many fine qualities found in his father.
