You don't have to know Jeff very long before you come to realize what a good person he is. His kind and friendly manner engages people and makes them feel right at home. Not unlike others of impeccable character, Jeff takes his family seriously. And therein lies his greatest accomplishment. It's easy to see the pride he feels as he talks about them. What's not to like?

Jeff told me once about the herds of wild horses called Assateague Ponies that make their home on Assateague Island, separated by a fence between the Maryland-Virginia line. They are fascinating and fun and sort of magical, just like Jeff.
