zest for life

Matthew Perna

What strikes me most when reading about ​Matthew Perna is that I am wondering if his life will forever be defined that 1) he participated in the event staged on January 6 at the capital and that 2) he committed suicide from the stress caused while awaiting for his sentencing — dying from a “broken heart” over his case because “the justice system killed his spirit and his zest for life,” according to kin.

He doesn't appear to me to be a convicted felon. He looks more like a warm person, an upright citizen, and a friend.
