Return to Tahoe

DAY 1 Months of planning and preparation consummated in an early morning drive Wednesday August 13. Although we didn't really leave as early as planned, preparations were completed and the car left around 6am for the long drive to Lake Tahoe. The travel party included my daughters, Melanie and Emily, Linda, and me. 

I drove, while the girls slept, mostly. The idea was that we would get the better part of the 8-hour journey behind us before the girls awoke. It worked out well.
