a beautiful perspective

August 16, 2008 was a tragic day in the Nielson family. Yet, their good attitude and passion to find value in tragedy is uplifting, but perhaps most inspiring of all is recognizing that they are willing to convey the lessons of their experience and share what they learned so we don't have to face the same hardship to benefit.

Stephanie blogs to put the Internet to good use and to help others. "To me, beauty and motherhood are one. They are the same thing." It is hard and definitely challenging, but we are not alone, especially in times of trouble. "Today it was groceries. It was Mr. Nielson who I watched outside my window early this morning ride his bike to school with the girls. Their faces beamed like they were the luckiest girls ever. And they are...including me."
