What a trip. My sweetie and I took three of our daughters to Las Vegas to see the Justin Bieber concert at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. We left Friday morning and checked into our apartment in time to let the girls get ready and walk over to the show. Linda and I went with them to find the location. Dozens of fans were already in line. Everybody was taking pictures and standing in front of the JB marquis to do it. The air was electric they had assigned seats, so we went to grab a bite to eat before the concert began. Soon it was time for them to go and find their seats. Linda and I pushed through to the casino and went to the strip and went to see the sites downtown. We stopped at one outdoor bar with TVs and watched the Gonzaga vs Syracuse basketball game. it was close, but Syracuse came out on top. We walked back to the apartment and prepared for bed, the girls soon came home and excitedly told us about the performance. They all had a great time and loved the show. Sleep. In the morning, we got up and decided to go find breakfast in the city somewhere. Melanie recommended a place that was called The Cracked Egg, and it turned out to be super. Delicious food, good waitress, nice atmosphere, and a great start for the day. High on the girl's agenda was shopping, so that's what we did next. The Fashion Show mall is where we started. I mostly sat in the mall and people watched whiled the girls shopped with their mother, before long, Steven and Carly joined us, and we went to the Nike store to look for shoes for Melanie. This was located at Caesar's Palace, so after shopping, we went to eat at Cheesecake Factory. Afterward, mom and went to find an Asian market for Penny and had quite a trip while Siri re- routed our route every 50 seconds. We found it anyway and got all the things on the list. Because the items on the list were foreign to us we sent pictures and text messages to confirm. Soon we headed back to the apartment and found the kids had arrived just prior to us. Steven, Amy, and I went to secure food and utensils for eating cereal and such. Fun time covertly acquiring the supplies. When we returned, we all watched Family Feud and other games on TV. I think we were all too tired to think. We filled up the beds and Steven slept on the floor. It's 9am and most people are still sleeping. We will have breakfast soon before checking out.
