PictureOzzy, Nick, and Tosh
Games, riding ATVs, and food were all on the menu as we became comfortably situated in a cabin on Redd's Ranches. We ate like kings: All the bacon and French toast one could eat, chicken wraps, hot dogs and brats, including my favorite Jalapeño and cheese. Chicken bagels on French pastries, and Mexican haystacks. Drinks and snacks were available 24x7.

Gator and two ATVs
Garbage duty...even that was fun
Hansen, Lamb, and Luna

Four generations are represented.

Church leaders point out the way and invite members to live the gospel. We do it in the mountains, at work, and at play. We live it always.

There are those who say, “The Church won’t dictate to me how to think about this, that, or the other, or how to live my life.”

No, I reply, the Church will not dictate to any man how he should think or what he should do. The Church will point out the way and invite every member to live the gospel and enjoy the blessings that come of such living. The Church will not dictate to any man, but it will counsel, it will persuade, it will urge, and it will expect loyalty from those who profess membership therein.

Furthermore, the church encourages growth in its members to have fun and celebrate life as families.

Mom is a pro.
Nick is honing in the sites of his pellet gun. Dialed into the target.
Jerimiah is throwing a hatchet at a stump.
Whitiling, ATVs, crepes for breakfast and homemade syrup.

The quakies are a perfect backdrop to our cabins/campground, and the bluesky background. A light breeze rustles the leaves and cools air in our the camp.
Six people fit in the hammock all at once.
Playing Catch phrase.
Mom's asleep in the hammock.
Luna, Tosh, Hansen and Lamb...the gang's all here
And it is still the morning of the first day.

Lunch was chicken wraps. Fishing and more ATVs. Mom's a pro.
Later, we have clay pigeons and a case of shotgun shells.

This is a memory already that I will cherish the rest of my life.

We also had private rooms in cabins with bathrooms, showers, and running water. Each of the families participated in making meals, including the following:
Fishing - fish fry
Lunch chicken wraps
Ladder ball
Shooting clay pigeons with a shotgun
Chicken pastries and chips
Mommies so attentive.

Nearby were springs
  River road
  Redds cabin
More fishing and playing

Dad- why do you always have to make things religious ?
Everything is religious. Having fun and enjoying life is honoring God. Being with our family is the best and celebrating life honors the Creator of it all. Joy is found in following his gospel.  Watching, relishing, helping, participating, and thanking.

The beauty of the earth is a gift.

Jerimiah started to whittle a chunk of dry  quakie with a hatchet. He was persistent and formed a little bear that stood on his hind legs. It surveyed our camp and kept watch. Everything was going fine, until something happened and Jer cut his finger. It was a deep wound. And even when our actions result in outcomes that cause pain in our own lives or others, wounds can be healed through Jesus Christ.

Analogy of a great cell phone.
