We had transfers again! I can't believe how fast the last transfer went. I stayed here in Cagliari, but I got a new companion. His name is Anziano Hunsaker from Idaho Falls! He's pretty cool. There's also a new Elder in our house named Anziano Pesci. He's super cool too. Anziano Raimondi the Italian elder is still here too. He's crazy and hilarious plus being in the same house is helping my Italian so much.
That all being said, I have to say the best part about this week happened before transfers. There's a recent convert here named Friday. He is African and migrated to Italy awhile ago. Last week he told us he had a friend in Italian that he new in Nigeria before. Well, last Sunday he brought this friend to church. His name is Lucky. He is awesome! They live in different refugee camps in different cities, but they found each other and Lucky wants to join the church! We had our first lesson on Tuesday and he told us several times just how much he wants to join the church and follow Christ. Anziano Crook gave him a baptismal date for the 26 of August and he happily accepted! We met with him two other times during the week and he came to church again yesterday. We are so excited! He so cool. It's amazing how the Lord will all of the sudden just bless us in a huge way. It was the perfect way to end the transfer.
That's about all for this week. I know God lives and knows what is best for every single one of his children individually.
Love you all! Anziano Stucki
