3/6/22 - Cocoa Beach, FL / West Palm Beach, FL
Our night in the Walmart parking lot was great. We woke up, turned the van over, got the kids dressed in swimming suits, and then drove to Lori Wilson Park about 10 minutes away. We found a picnic table there and had breakfast. Enzo napped in the van while we ate. We also boiled water to have in our thermos and did a few dishes. When Enzo woke up we packed up the wagon and walked to the beach. We stayed at the beach several hours. Ozzy and Fitz are already so much more comfortable and confident in the ocean waves. Fitz’s favorite thing is “big jumps” over the crashing waves and Ozzy runs, jumps, swims all around and loves playing with the surfer dudes. Enzo also really loves the beach. He loves dipping his toes in the ocean and kicking his feet in the sand. We had lunch there and Enzo napped again under the sunshade. Nick rented a boogie board and we all tried it which was really fun. We left later than we meant to so everyone was tired. Fitz fell asleep as soon as we got him changed and buckled in his car seat. We packed up and were off to our next campground two hours South in West Palm Beach.
