Hey so this week was great. We found a lot of cool people to start teaching and saw a lot of miricles. Theres not a ton of people up here but the Lord really does put people in our path if we are just will to open our mouths. Last monday i was chosen to give the lesson for Family home evening and it was a really spiritual expierence. We studied John2-4 and i asked all of the guys there how the temple has blessed them in there lives and the responces were so amazing. They all shared really special feelings and blessings they have gotten from the temple and the lesson ended up being super spiritual. I cant help but be so thankful to be able to go to the temple and recieve the blessings of it. It has truly changed my life and i promise it can change yours too. So from this point on make going there your biggest priority and get there.
love you all Elder Hunsaker

Serving has changed my life and given me a totally new perspective on people and how to deal with people and change through the service you give to others. When i first came out i thought i just needed to worry about myself to change and stuff but i have really learned that its about serving others first and then you slowly change without knowing it. I also have such a stronger testimony of this gospel. I dont think a semi truck could throw me off of this course and the goals i have set for my future and the gospel. Its hard to say over an email and really let people feel the emotion in my testimony but through all the stuff i have seen and experiences out here i will never let it slip. Jesus is the Christ and God Lives.
So im leaving the land of 중랑. I will be going to a place right by the border of North Korea. Its got a huge american army base and a ton of people from around the world that work at the factories there. Its been a good time here and im sad to leave but I really feel that the Lord has a lot of really cool things in store for me in the next area.
The week was so cool though. On Thursday Alex Boye came to korea and we got permission to go to his concert if we brought an investigator so we had two come with us along with a recent convert and let me tell ya, it was so sick! It felt so weird to actually go to a concert but Alex did a great job and made it a really spiritual experience at the end with his testimony of the Gospel. On Saturday we put on a ping pong tourney at the church and me and my korean grandpa steven went crazy and pulled off 3rd place haha. He is 86 but super super healthy. I will maybe miss him most when i leave. ahh man theres just so many awesome people here its been hard saying goodbye and stuff but i dont think this is the last time ill see them so its bittersweet. I want to give a huge shout out to the AF wrestlers and all the hard work they put in! Its a huge blessing to be apart of that program. They deserve all the success and joy after a hard tough season!! anyway, I love you guys and pray for you. Have the best week. Love Elder Hunsaker ...The olympic spirit it actually here. The korean people really know how to come together and support their athletes. whenever a Korean is competing everyone just stops and watches. soooo cool. |
