The best time to be a missionary.
Such a blessing to share the christmas spirit it Korea. The past week was very busy and packed with lessons, caroling, contacting, and a christmas party. The feeling you get after telling someone Merry Christmas on the street never gets old.
The ward put on a christmas party Saturday night and it was amazing. Everyone helped and performed a talent haha. One of the best Nights ever!
Skype yesterday was amazing. Kinda hard but i know this is the Place for me right now. I am so blessed withe best family and support system in the world.
Let the Gospel stamp your heart.
Love you all!
Love you all,
Christmas is so close! cant believe it. the time is flying. Korea is good at a lot of stuff but not christmas haha so the missionaries are here to help them out a bit. haha i think of myself last year at christmas time and how it was all about me and what i was getting. so messed up i know haha but so glad this mission has opened my eyes. The gift of giving. in english class the other day we talked about giving and a really poor lady go mad and said i have no money to give. It was great because the others told her we need to give our smile or our service to them. so humbling to hear that from non lds people.
The other day i met a guy and i told him about christ and he said some stuff in korea and i didnt understand what he said but my companion just walked away and i was kinda sad he would just walk away. i figured the guy said something bad about the church but my faith and hope in this gospel isnt hurt or helped through the opinion other others and so our new commitnment is to love people no matter what. "everyone shall have there chance, i dont care if he spits in your face, give him his chance and give it with love." -elder hunsaker
haha so this email probably makes no sense but i love you all.
Love Elder Hunsaker
The christmas season is weird here. Everyone doesnt really celebrate it. So as a mission we are pushing christ and christmas so hard. Its so amazing. The spirit around this time of the year is so strong and powerful. I think its mostly because when you ;focus on christ all the time and remember his birth then you get blessed with the spirit. I am crazy grateful to be in Korea. The people are so giving. The last 3 meals are from members and every time they always tell me if i want to be a Korean then i have to eat like one and they feed me until i cant walk haha.
The work is still pretty tough the other night a man told me people think dont have time to think about religion and i was pretty sad. I can imagine not having christ in my life and trying to go through all the trials of life alone. I promised him that I would not be here if i didnt know this church was true and promised him that God wants to help all his children if we just open the door. Roman 8:38-39!!!!!
Love you all and i promise God lives and Jesus is the Christ. Through him we can do anything. People dont realize that their father is the most powerful person so why cant we accomplish our dreams and have the faith to do it though Christ?. Love you all so much.
Another great week, The people will not stop feeding us ahah but its okay because Korean food is healthy right ?! haha Lots of people to talk to and not a lot of people with time to talk to us. its hard sometimes but the Lord blesses those that put the effort in so we are working twice as hard. The language is coming slowly haha im starting to understand more and more everyday. Im english class the other day the students i am teaching all want to know about missionaries so hopefully we get some investigators from that. God is blessing us in so many ways. The other night i was talking with a guy and he was helping me with korean and was super nice and ran off then he came back with 2 drinks 2 cookies and donuts haha he is my hero too bad he lives out of our zone so we gave him the number of other missionaries.
Love you all so much, god bless
