This week we did a lot of out of the ordinary stuff! We had interviews with President Hewlett on Tuesday. So we got to drive to north Houston to do that so that was fun! And then we heard that this pizza place called Persona feeds missionaries for free and so we went and got some free pizza! Then we got to go back up to North Houston on Thursday for new missionary training which lasted like all day but was really good. I got to see my old comp Elder Child and all my other MTC buddies so that was fun.
Then Friday while we were biking to an appointment I ran right into an electrical pole and crashed pretty good 🤕 we were just cruising down the freeway feeder road (Houston doesn't have on or off ramps they just have this road that runs parallel to the freeway on both sides so that's a feeder road) and I didn't see that the pole was sticking like a foot into the sidewalk and it clipped my handlebar and sent me flying. 🛫🛬💥 I'm all good though I just ripped a hole in my favorite pants on the knee and got one of my shirts all grassy but I'm still kicking. We were supposed to have 5 investigators at church this week but none of them came, so that was sad. We don't really have any solid investigators anymore Michaela and Xavier got an apartment just outside of our area so we had to refer them to the other elders, and nobody else really seems to care. So we are thinking of fun ways we can get people interested and get innactives reactivated like basketball night and we are planning a BBQ and we are gonna take brownies to families and give them one plate for them and another plate for them to give to a non member family and tell them about the church. Oh also we got to go through downtown on Thursday on the way back from the LDS family services center and got to see all the skyscrapers and stuff from the car. It was really cool and makes me want to go to New York or something. Me and Elder Lyle are doing good we have a lot of fun. We have been doing movie nights every once in awhile where we eat some blue bell ice cream and watch a church film so that's been fun! Its still so hot here guys I don't think you understand. You know how usually it gets colder as winter gets closer? Yeah that doesn't happen here it's still over 90 degrees and humid everyday. I keep looking at the weather in Payson and I'm so jealous of you guys. I would run into another electric pole on purpose if it would make it 40 degrees here. Well I think that's about it everyone love you all! Y'all be blessed -Elder Robison
