great times

​Great time to be a missionary. This last week was spent very well. Last week on Christmas we had dinner at a members house with a nonmember family. We sang and played games and ended up having a really good talk about the church. The mom and us really got into it at the end and she was asking us lots of questions about the finding peace and how we are strong enough to always believe in God no matter what. It was humbling to see a woman with everything a person dreams about obtaining in life but still being dissatisfied and unsure about the future. We all shared very deep experiences that have really changed our lifes and brought us closer to God. We told her about how just like anything in life we have to work at our faith and practice being spiritual and coming closer to God and when we fall thats when we need him most. She was really grateful and accepted a book of mormon.
   This morning was fun. We went to the mtn and hiked to see the new year sunrise. It was super fun and the best part was being with the ward and sharing these memories with them. I love this Gospel and I know its true. Not a doubt in my mind. I have been told hundreds of times about what people think of this church and rejected about a thousand more times but that doesnt change anything. I am firm on my foundation and building on a rock. helaman 5:12
