You are the Light

​This week was so good. We had a big mission conference last Thursday with the Area President Elder Gay. He is the man. A Real man. My Grandpa always told me that a REAL man is someone who takes care of people. Elder Gay is a great guy and throughout his life has really taken care of people. He gave us good advice on choosing our career and how we will measure our lives. But the thing that hit me most during the conference was when one of the elders asked him how he can help some of his family members that arnt members and how he can help them and his answer was "work as hard as you can to live the gospel and be a good missionary and the Lord will take care of them." The Elder was really emotional and it really just hit home to me that there is always a bigger cause then ourselves and once we find that bigger cause the task is more meaningful and the motivation to get the job done doubles, triples, quadruples. When i teach about goals the first thing i talk about, is the reason why the most important thing when making a goal is asking yourself why you want to do this?. but on the back side of what he said i want to challenge each of you that have some one in your life that you know that needs the Gospel and make a goal to follow the Gospel and do missionary work to the best of your ability. I testify that God will see that and maybe not even in this life but the next those people will find the Gospel and will be blessed because of your efforts. Corinthians 5:14
